Updated: Matildas Soccer Player Posting Pictures Of Lisa De Vanna
An Australian Matildas soccer player is being questioned by the sport’s governing authority after sexually suggested images on her Facebook profile were viewed by 13-year-old fan.
Lisa De Vanna, 25, a highly decorated player, was asked to take the scandalous photos, images and fix her page to private after the mother of the young Matildas fan reported to the Football Federation of Australia.
According to the Herald Sun, the girl and her mother were now “distraught” after watching the pages this week.
The mother, Jane, said she couldn’t trust De Vanna would make the pictures viewable to everyone.
“I’m distraught that these are pics of athletes my daughter aspires to be like and appears up to,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.
An email forwarded to the mother, FFA head of women’s football Leeanne Grantham apologised for the “stupidity” her daughter had been contexted to.
