The news magazine and few other media houses have demanded they have a list of many entities that hold ill-gotten money in the tax haven. The names are part of a list given by the German government, which got it from a worker of LGT Bank.

The government has rejected to make the list public, telling it was had from German authorities under strict confidentiality clauses. Investigation by the Central Board of Direct Taxes over the individuals and entities figuring in the list are trusted to be close to completion. They are anticipated to be prosecuted under different provisions of Income Tax Act.

Tehelka told few of these account holders could be fronts for high profile individuals and that one name in specific is being investigated for suspected links with a popular Indian politician. Reports told there were twelve trusts and 26 beneficiaries in the list, and the full money in the accounts was about Rs 52 crore. CNN-IBN channel named 4 trusts of Indians — Ambrunova Trust, Marline Management SA, Marnichi Trust and Socalo Stiftung.
