Govt will thoroughly investigate exact cause of death of Narendra Giri, says Keshav Prasad Maurya

Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya has said that the State Government will investigate thoroughly about the death of the head of Akhil Bhartiya Akhada Parishad Narendra Giri, who was found hanging at his residence in Prayagraj yesterday. Expressing shock and grief over the demise of Narendra Giri, Mr Maurya said that he had met him just a day before and he was hale and hearty. He said that the government will take all the necessary steps to find out the exact cause of the death. Additional Director General (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar said that a suicide note was recovered in which Narendra Giri had accused Anand Giri and two others for circumstances leading to his suicide. He said that Anand Giri, a disciple of Narendra Giri was detained from Haridwar with the help of Uttarakhand Police and a further probe is underway.
