Kerala witnessed a considerable dip in COVID figures as it confirmed 4,677 new COVID-19 positive cases on Friday. A total of 56,558 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. The test positivity rate is 8.26 per cent at present. In all, 33 deaths were also confirmed due to COVID today, taking the total death toll to 39,125. Bringing respite, 6,632 recoveries were also reported today. At present, 49,459 is the active caseload in the state.
