In Tennis, ace Indian star Sania Mirza and her Ukrainian partner Nadiia Kichenok entered the women’s doubles semifinals of the Adelaide International tournament. The duo beat American Shelby Rogers and Heather Watson of Great Britain yesterday.
The pair of Sania and Nadiia beat their opponents 6-0, 1-6, 10-5 in the quarterfinal clash that lasted for 55 minutes. They will now face the Australian combination of Ashleigh Barty and Storm Sanders in the last-four round of the event.
On the other hand, in the Forli 1 Challenger underway in Italy, the Indian-Italia pair of Arjun Khade and Marco Bortolotti entered the finals after getting a walkover in the semi-finals.
The match was scheduled for today. The duo had entered the semi-finals after defeating the pair of Kazakhstan’s Denis Yevseyev and Dutch Glenn Smits.
