‘It was a very difficult time’; Deepika shared her experience of corona

In the second wave of the Corona epidemic, many celebrities became infected with the virus. Along with Deepika Padukone, her father Prakash, mother Ujwala and sister Anisha were also positive. Deepika’s family confronted Corona in April last year. Deepika did not express much about this later. But in a recent interview, she spoke of the consequences. Deepika had recovered from Kovid in a few weeks. But then she took a break from work for about two months. Her mind was not fully prepared for work and it was a very difficult time, said Deepika.
In an interview to Film Companion, Deepika said, “My life changed after encountering Kovid, because I could not recognize myself physically. I think it was the effect of drugs and steroids. In Kovid, you can’t balance your body, your mind.”
Deepika said that the corona did not affect her as much as it did after she passed away. So she had to take a break from work. “I thought I was fine when I got sick, but after that, I had to take two months off because my head was not working properly. It was a very difficult time for me,” she added. Deepika’s film ‘Gehraiyaan’ is awaiting release. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwa. The movie will hit theaters on Amazon Prime Video on February 11.
