Notification of new boundaries issued, 9 wards increased in Mumbai

Currently, the political atmosphere in Mumbai Municipal Corporation is hot. From naming the sports complex after Tipu Sultan, he has been facing accusations between the ruling party and the opposition on a number of issues. Meanwhile, for the forthcoming elections, the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (BMC) had once again decided to reshuffle and increase the number of constituencies. Demarcation of 236 new wards of NMC was also prepared. Accordingly, notification of new boundaries of Mumbai wards has been issued. In this, 9 wards have been added in Mumbai. There are 3 cities, 3 in the western suburbs and 3 in the eastern suburbs.
Meanwhile, complaints and suggestions will be invited on the notification from February 1 to February 14. The Election Commission will be notified of the complaint on February 16. The grievance redressal will be held from February 16 to February 26.
The final list will be released on March 2. After that, it has been informed that the election will be declared after removing the reservation of wards. This election will be held without OBC reservation and reservation has been made for AC and ST for the ward.
