Maharashtra today reported 809 new covid-19 cases taking the overall caseload to 66,11,887. According to the state public health department, 1901 patients were discharged from the hospital while 10 people succumbed to the infection during the day. The state presently has 15,552 active cases.
The recovery rate in the state stands at 97.59% while the case fatality rate is 2.12%. On the other hand, Mumbai has recorded 258 fresh cases today taking the cumulative total to 7,57,007. The city also reported 4 deaths and 420 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
