Maharashtra recorded 33,470 new COVID cases; Mumbai reported 13,648

Maharashtra reported 33 thousand 470 new cases yesterday and the state has now 2 lakh six thousand 46 active cases and 29 thousand 671 patients recovered yesterday. 8 deaths were reported in the state. 31 new Omicron cases were reported across the state taking the tally of total Omicron cases to 1247 and 467 patients have recovered from the infection till date. Mumbai reported 13 thousand 648 new cases yesterday and 27 thousand 214 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the city.
