In Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has allotted portfolios to his Council of Ministers. According to a Government notification, the Chief Minister has retained important portfolios like Home Affairs, Health and Family Welfare, PWD, and all other portfolios which have not been allocated to any Minister.
Senior Minister Ratanlal Nath has been allocated Power, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Election portfolios. Finance, Planning and Coordination portfolios have been allocated to Pranajit Singha Roy. Sushanta Chowdhury has been given Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Transport and Tourism. Santana Chakma has been allocated Industries and Commerce, Jail and Welfare of OBCs.
