South Africa beat India by 7 wickets in second Test to level three-match series 1-1

In Cricket, South Africa beat India by 7 wickets in the second Test at the Wanderers in Johannesburg last night to level the three-match series 1-1. Chasing the victory target of 240 runs set by India, South Africa achieved the target in 67.4 overs.

They made 243 for the loss of 3 wickets. South Africa skipper Dean Elgar was the hero for the home team for his unbeaten 96-run knock. He was declared player of the match.

For India, Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur, and Ravichandran Ashwin picked one wicket each. The third and final Test begins in Cape Town from January 11.
