In the Kashmir Valley, the MeT office in Srinagar has forecast moderate to heavy snowfall over the middle and higher reaches tomorrow, January 24, and the following day.
The weather is likely to remain erratic, with intermittent rainfall or snowfall till January 29th in the whole of Jammu and Kashmir.
Inclement weather conditions continued yesterday, with light to moderate snowfall and rainfall reported at many places.
The Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority has also issued an avalanche warning for several districts of the Union Territory for today, January 23. Meanwhile, Senior PRO of the Northern Railways, R K Rana informed that six trains are running late due to fog.
