Supreme Court quashes order of Jharkhand High Court in matter of appointment of 326 candidates selected in Sixth State Civil Service examination conducted by JPSC

The Supreme Court on Thursday quashed the order of Jharkhand High Court in the matter of appointment of 326 candidates selected in the Sixth State Civil Service examination conducted by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). The Apex Court today gave its judgement in favour of 326 candidates securing their jobs.

Earlier the Jharkhand High Court, while delivering the verdict, had cancelled the merit list and recommendations of JPSC for the sixth civil service examination. In protest against the decision of the High Court, the recommended candidates went to the double bench of the Supreme Court. Before the completion of the hearing, the apex court had also asked the state government to present its side.
