Unseasonal rain was witnessed in some parts of Maharashtra yesterday. Heavy rain lashed Raigad and Nashik district. According to the Met Department 29.4 mm rain was recorded in Nashik city within two hours in the evening. Crops of onion, maize, rice and millet were damaged in Nashik.
In Raigad district heavy rain with gusty winds was witnessed at Pen, Uran, Matheran, Pali and Alibaugh and it damaged Betel nuts which were kept in open space for drying in the district.
