Uttarakhand Governor, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami celebrated Diwali with the soldiers of the country posted on the border in Chamoli District of state. The Governor and Chief Minister reached East Camp, Garhwal Scouts, Mana on Diwali and met the army personnel. The Chief Minister said that it was his dream to celebrate Diwali with the jawans. He said that he was overwhelmed to be among defense personnel on Diwali Day.
