The gross Goods and Services Tax, GST revenue collected in December 2021 is over one lakh 29 thousand crore rupees. Of which, CGST is 22 thousand 578 crore rupees, SGST is 28 thousand 658 crore rupees, IGST is 69 thousand 155 crore rupees and cess is nine thousand 389 crore rupees.
Finance Ministry said, the total revenue of Centre and the States in the month of December last year after settlements is 48 thousand 146 crore rupees for CGST and 49 thousand 760 crore rupees for the SGST.
The revenues for the month of December 2021 are 13 percent higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year.
