The movie ‘Nai Varanbhat Loncha Kon Nai Koncha’ directed by Mahesh Manjrekar has already found itself in the midst of controversy. Many parents of children studying online have objected to the scenes of women and minors in the trailer, demanding that the scenes be removed from the film. In an interview to E-Times, the film’s producer Shreyansh Hirawat said, “The trailer uploaded on social media and other platforms was censored. We are taking care that the audience above 18 years of age can see it. Although the age limit is specified on the trailer on YouTube, we do not have control over such platforms.
Anyone can download and share from it. It was not possible for us to keep track of all these things. We have now deleted that trailer following a letter from the Women’s Commission. We did not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings, so we immediately deleted the trailer on all platforms. ‘
