Working hours of women police will be changed, Director General’s instructions issued

The state government has given good news for women police personnel. In the coming period, instructions have been given to increase the working hours of women police personnel from 12 to 8 hours. Director General of Police Sanjay Pandey has issued instructions in this regard.
Pandey has initially ordered an eight-hour duty on an experimental basis. The final verdict will be announced in a few days, the police administration said. Women serving in the police force also have work and family responsibilities.
This makes them very tired. This increases the risk of female employees falling ill and suffering from other ailments. A proposal was received by the Home Ministry to prevent this. The instructions have been given by the Director General of Police.
Therefore, if he is on duty for 8 hours, the rate of absenteeism and illness of female police personnel will be reduced. However, during the festival, seniors are given the right to decide on the hours of women employees.
