Seaweed production scheme would enable women empowerment in great way: Dr L Murugan

In Tamilnadu Union Minister of State for Information and broadcasting and fisheries Dr. L. Murugan has said that seaweed production scheme would enable women empowerment in a great way.
Speaking to the media in Chennai during his door to door campaign on vaccination today, he said that the sea weed scheme would be inaugurated soon. The Minister said that the campaign was at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make sure that all those above 18 years of age are vaccinated. He informed that at least 60 lakh people have to receive the second vaccination in the State. He raised a question on the State Government ‘s unwillingness to reduce the VAT on petrol and diesel.
