Dense fog and poor visibility continue to hit train and air services in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu’s temperature remained 8 degrees Celsius below normal during the day on Tuesday as dense fog and poor visibility continued to hit train and air services. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that five flights and four trains were cancelled on Tuesday in Jammu. Jammu recorded a maximum temperature of 10.7 degrees C which was 8.1 degrees below normal (18.8 deg C), for this day of the season. On Monday, the day temperature of the winter capital was 9 degrees below normal. The Jammu was again colder than Srinagar on Monday during the day, besides Batote, Banihal and Bhaderwah as the day temperature of these towns remained much higher than that of Jammu.
