Delhi’s air quality dips to very poor category

The air quality in the national capital is presently in the very poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the overall air quality index of the national capital was recorded 334 at 6 AM today. An air quality index between 0 and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 to 300 poor, 301 to 400 very poor and 401 to 500 severe. System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research, SAFAR has predicted that Delhi’s air quality may slip to the severe category on Diwali today.
