Parliamentary Affairs Minister reiterates his demand for suspended MPs to apologise for their unruly behaviour for revocation of action taken against them

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has reiterated his demand for the suspended Rajya Sabha MPs to apologise for their unruly behaviour for the revocation of the action taken against them. Responding to the queries of news persons outside Parliament this morning, he said, agitating in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in support of the MPs who behaved in an unruly manner is ridiculous. He said the Government could have passed the Dam Safety bill in the Rajya Sabha yesterday but it didn’t do so because it wanted the participation of all the MPs in the House.

Meanwhile, the Opposition MPs staged protests in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Parliament premises this morning against the suspension of the 12 MPs. They urge the revocation of the suspension.
