Maharashtra reported 664 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, taking the total number of infections to 66,37,289. According to the state’s public health department, 915 people have recovered from the infection in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 64,85,335. The death toll has risen to 1,41,149, with 16 people succumbing to the infection.
The number of active cases in Maharashtra stands at 7,132.
Mumbai reported 193 new cases of COVID-19, yesterday. 210 patients were recovered and the number of recoveries is 742602 and 3 deaths were reported yesterday. The number of active cases of Mumbai stand at 1886, second highest in the state,Pune is leading with 1928 active cases and Thane, which has 1058 active cases is third in the list of active cases.
