Amit Shah to start 21 development projects worth 1311 crore rupees in Manipur

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address a public meeting in the Bishnupur district of Manipur this morning and also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 21 development projects worth 1,311 crore rupees in Manipur. Mr. Shah arrived in Imphal yesterday evening. He will visit Heingang village this morning and inaugurate the Marjing Statue Complex, where a 122 feet tall statue of a polo player has been made. The village is situated under Heingang Assembly Constituency from where Chief Minister N. Biren Singh is an MLA.

Mr. Shah will visit Churachandpur district to inaugurate the first-ever medical college constructed in the hill district in Manipur. Home Minister will address a public meeting held in Moirang in the Bishnupur district and he will hoist a 165 feet high Indian national flag at the Indian National Army (INA) Headquarters Complex in Moirang.

Mr. Shah will also inaugurate the Manipur Olympian Park constructed at Sangaithel. He will also lay the foundation stone for different development projects including the construction of 34 Police Outposts along the Indo-Myanmar International Border.
