Haryana: Thousands of people actively participate in ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra

In Haryana, thousands of people are actively participating in the ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ an initiative aimed at reaching every individual in the state to ensure the outreach of various welfare programmes of the central and state governments. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has integrated this Yatra with Jan Samvad, facilitating on-the-spot resolution of people’s issues.

This Yatra not only disseminates information about different government schemes but also ensures immediate access to their benefits for eligible citizens.

Health check-ups are also being conducted during the Yatra. During the Yatra till date, more than 2 lakh 80 thousand people have participated in health camps and got their health screening and over one lakh 70 thousand people were screened for Tuberculosis. Many people are taking benefits of government schemes at the spot. The dissemination of information about various schemes, on-the-spot issuance of ration cards, correction of Parivar Pehchan Patra, health check-ups at health department stalls, among other initiatives, are providing immediate benefits to the people.

In Haryana, more than 9 thousand five hundred women have been registered under Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Yojanaand around 65000 Ayushman Bharat Cards have been issued to the beneficiaries. Rajni, a woman from Dyora village of Kaithal expressed her gratitude to the Prime Minister after taking the benefit of various schemes in the camps organised during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes.

The Yatra is playng a vital role in fulfilling the dream of ANTYODYA and effectively bring the benefits of welfare schemes to the doorsteps of the people.
