Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma and Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi yesterday. Both Chief Ministers reaffirmed their resolve to maintain peace and tranquility at their borders. Mr. Sarma said, it has been decided that both the states will constitute committees for resolving the border disputes through discussions. He said, towards this end, Chief Ministers’ level talks will also take place from time to time. Both Chief Ministers thanked Home Minister Amit for his guidance and support.
