In Uttar Pradesh, an average voter turn out 35.51 percent was recorded till ONE PM for the Seventh and Final Phase of Assembly Elections. The polling is progressing smoothly. In three constituencies of Chakia in Chandauli district along with Robertsganj and Duddhi in Sonbhadra district, the polling will be conducted from 7.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. while it will continue till 6.00 P.M. in rest of the 51 Assembly Constituencies spread over nine districts going to polls today.
Assembly By-Election for the Majuli seat in Assam is also being held today. 47.70 percent of polling was registered till one PM. The polling that began at 7 AM is progressing smoothly and will go on till 5.00 P.M.
