Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has greeted the people on the occasion of Janmashtami festival. In his message, the Lt Governor said Lord Krishna symbolizes devotion, discipline, godliness, rootedness, acceptance and prescribed duties. Mr Sinha said that on this sacred festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna, we must rededicate ourselves to the eternal teachings of Lord Krishna and build a society full of love, peace, brotherhood and compassion.
The Lieutenant Governor hoped that the festival inspires us towards the goal of developed Jammu Kashmir and herald peace and prosperity for all.
