Latur: So far, the new variant of Corona, Omicron, has been infected only by foreign travelers. The health department was of the view that only those from abroad were affected by Omicron. However, this perception of the department was sidelined on Sunday. A senior citizen of Tandulja (Tal. Latur) has been reported to be infected with Omicron from Pune Health Laboratory.
Earlier, a senior citizen was admitted to Covid Care Center due to corona infection. After leaving home after treatment on Saturday (Thu. 8), it was revealed that the senior was also infected with Omicron.
