Telangana reported 210 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, pushing the tally to over 6 lakh 78 thousand cases. The State witnessed a rise in the number of fresh cases reported on a single day. Meanwhile, 213 people have recovered from the infection, taking the total number of recoveries in Telangana to over 6 lakh 70 thousand.
The state has currently over 3 thousand 8 hundred active cases. According to the daily covid report issued by the Department of Public Health, one more person succumbed to the pandemic during the past 24 hours taking the toll to four thousand nine.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for 87 out of the newly reported cases during the past 24 hours while Hanumakonda district recorded 21 COVID cases.
