Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold a meeting today with Airport Public Health Officers through video conference about airport surveillance in view of new COVID19 Variant – OMICRON. Earlier, the Ministry had advised states not to let their guards down and keep a strict vigil on the international passengers coming to the country through various airports, ports, and land border crossings. The OMICRON Variant does not escape RTPCR and Rapid Antigen Test.
