PM Modi to launch Indian Space Association

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch Indian Space Association (ISpA) today at 11 AM via video conferencing. He will also interact with representatives of the Space Industry on this landmark occasion.ISpA stands for the Indian Space Industry’s Premier Industry Association of Space and Satellite Companies, which seeks to represent the industry’s collective voice. It will undertake policy advocacy and will also engage with all the key stakeholders in the Indian Space domain, including the Government and its agencies.

ISpA will help India become self-sufficient, technologically competent, and a leading player in the space arena, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
ISpA is represented by major domestic and international companies with advanced space and satellite technology skills. Larson & Toubro, Nelco (Tata Group), OneWeb, Bharti Airtel, Mapmyindia, Walchandnagar Industries, and Ananth Technology Limited are among its founding members. Godrej, Hughes India, Azista-BST Aerospace Private Limited, BEL, Centum Electronics, and Maxar India are among the other founding members.
