In Badminton, Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth, HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen will play their Quarterfinal matches of BWF World Championships in Huelva, Spain today. In women’s singles, reigning world champion Sindhu will take on top seed and world number one Tai Tzu Ying of Chinese Taipei.
In men’s singles, Srikanth will face Mark Caljouw of the Netherlands. HS Prannoy will lock horns with Loh Kean Yew of Singapore and Lakshya Sen will be playing against Zhao Jun Peng of China.
Indian challenge in the doubles category ended yesterday with women’s doubles duo Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy and men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty losing their respective pre-quarterfinal matches yesterday.
