FM Nirmala Sitharaman on two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir from today

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir beginning today. This will be her first visit to J&K as Finance Minister after the abrogation of Article 370. AIR correspondent reports that the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the first day of her visit to Jammu and Kashmir today is scheduled to inaugurate Aayakar Bhawan-cum- Residential Complex at Rajbagh in Srinagar. She will also interact with women entrepreneurs of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) and officials of Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) and Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs (CBIC).

The Union Finance Minister later in the day will also launch Externally Aided Projects (EAP) & Programme on Mission Youth at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) in the outskirts of Srinagar city. Tomorrow the Union Minister will visit Jammu and take part in a credit outreach and financial inclusion programme there.
