Jharkhand government has decided to give 50 thousand rupees to the families of those who died due to COVID-19. State Health Minister Banna Gupta instructed the Deputy Commissioners of all 24 districts to provide the amount to the families of those who died due to COVID-19.
A total of 5 thousand 133 deaths have been confirmed in the state due to COVID-19. Ranchi district recorded the highest number of deaths of 1,585 people followed by East Singhbhum district with 1,043 people.
