Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will release 3 tigers in Madhav National Park, Shivpuri as part of the efforts to rehabilitate tigers today.
Union Civil Aviation and Steel Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and several ministers of state government will be present on the occasion.
Earlier, cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa were brought to Kuno National Park in Sheopur, neighbouring district of Shivpuri.
AIR correspondent reports, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also interact with tiger mitras and Ladli Bahna in this program. During this, works worth about Rs 270 crore will be inaugurated and the foundation stone will be laid.
The Chief Minister has said that Madhav National Park has ample possibilities to encourage tourism activities. The park has a rich history of Natural tigers.
Due to the increase in tourism activities in the area due to the rehabilitation of tigers, employment opportunities will also be created.
