Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Thakur is taking part in a meeting today with BJP functionaries in Lucknow to discuss the strategy for upcoming assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh. He reached Lucknow yesterday as part of the BJP’s central poll team. He was appointed as co-incharge by BJP for elections in Uttar Pradesh.
The central team under the leadership of Union education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will discuss poll strategy with the state BJP functionaries in Lucknow and Gorakhpur during its visit. Yesterday also, the central team had a discussion with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP state chief Swatantra Dev Singh and other ministers in Lucknow.
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is accompanied by BJP vice president and UP in charge Radha Mohan Singh and seven deputies, including Union I&B minister Anurag Thakur and three ministers of state, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Shobha Karandlaje and Annapurna Devi. Mr. Pradhan was appointed as election -in- charge by BJP for Uttar Pradesh and will discuss the party’s electoral strategy ahead of the polls. He is also scheduled to visit Gorakhpur and Sidharth Nagar.
