IND Vs NZ Live Score, 3rd Test Day 2: Jadeja Departs as NZ Attempt to Regain Control

India vs New Zealand 3rd Test Day 2 Live: Hello and welcome to the live blog of the second day of the third and final Test between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Pant, in classic aggressive fashion, swung the momentum of the game from the first over, walloping the NZ bowlers for boundaries at will, as IND got off to a fiery start on Day 3.
Gill and Pant kept the attack going as NZ bowlers watched the duo hammer them relentelssly, en route to their 96-ruin partnership.
Finally, Ish Sodhi would turn the tide for NZ, dismissing the fiery Pant for 60, following which India slowed down, as they patiently played their way to 195/5 at lunch.

India suffered a horrific collapse in 15 minutes, losing 3 wickets in quick succession. After Rohit, failed to make the most of a reprieve, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill stitched a 53-run stand for the second wicket before the unexpected unfolded.

Jaiswal was cleaned up by Ajaz Patel while playing a reverse sweep while Siraj, who came in as a night watchman, was trapped in front on the next delivery. The next over saw Virat Kohli jumping the gun and getting run out in an attempt to steal a single.

At stumps, Gill was batting on 31 with Rishabh Pant on 1 and India will look up to them to bat sensibly to take them as close to the New Zealand score as possible. India have done poorly in their first innings throughout this series, which has resulted in them trailing 0-2 coming into the Mumbai Test.
