Mumbai: All-rounder Washington Sunder has been ruled out of the ODI series against India due to a corona infection. The selection committee has asked Jayant Yadav to stay there for the ODI series. Jayant Yadav, who is in the Test squad, is with the Indian team. Also, fast bowler Navdeep Saini has been selected as his replacement as Mohammed Siraj has not yet fully recovered from the injury.
Rohit Sharma has been named the captain of India’s ODI team. However, he will not play in the series due to injury. Therefore, in his absence, K. L. Rahul will lead Team India. Jaspreet Bumrah has been selected as the vice-captain.
