NASA volunteers to simulate Mars mission : After stepping on the moon, man has been trying to land on another planet for several years. Elon Musk, the owner of Space-X, is trying to build a complete settlement on Mars. Now NASA has also taken a big step in terms of going to Mars. Now NASA is looking for volunteers for this.
According to media reports, NASA has announced a unique job (NASA Job). In this job, NASA will train candidates to live on Mars. Along with this, a large amount of salary will also be given. The mission will be called Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analogue (CHAPEA). (NASA Mars Experiment)
Experience Mars on Earth
NASA won’t actually send candidates to Mars for this job. So, similar to the atmosphere on Mars, the atmosphere has been created by NASA in a house on Earth. NASA has named this special house as ‘Simulated Mars Habitat’. This 1700 square feet house can accommodate four people.
Fun and experiment of space walk
Four people have to live in this house for about a year. They will also get a chance to do a spacewalk. Also, they will have to do farming in the Martian environment. Along with this, various types of experiments have to be done here. When NASA builds a space station on Mars in the future, all this data will be of great use. (NASA Mars Simulation)
According to NASA, this mission will start in the year 2025. Applications have been invited for this and the last date is April 2. The applicant must be a US citizen or US resident. This candidate needs to know English language. NASA has also clarified that this person should not be a smoker.
