The Odisha Vidhan Sabha today elected Bikram Keshari Arukh as its new Speaker. In a Special Session of the Assembly today, Sh. Arukh was elected unopposed through a voice vote. A few days earlier, the then Speaker of the House Dr. Surya Narayan Patro had given his resignation from the post.
