Mumbai: An application was filed to withdraw the suspension of BJP MLAs. The application has been taken up by the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly today and the suspension will be reconsidered. A meeting will be held at 2 pm today. BJP MLAs were suspended for one year for pushing the assembly table chairperson during the rainy session of the legislature in July. Raising the scepter, pulling the mic and insulting the table president while discussing the resolution on OBC reservation, Twelve MLAs were suspended for one year for misconduct on such charges. The MLAs had then moved the apex court seeking revocation of the suspension. However, the court had refused to withdraw the suspension. The court had issued notices to the state government and the legislature to present their case, agreeing to hear the issues raised by the MLAs. The hearing will be held in the Supreme Court on January 11, tomorrow.
Will the suspension be revoked? –
A day before the Supreme Court hearing, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly took note and today the reconsideration of the suspension will be reconsidered. This time BJP MLA Ashish Shelar will be present in the Vidhan Bhavan. Will the suspension be withdrawn before the court hearing? This is going to be important to watch.

Ashish Shelar, Abhimanyu Pawar, Atul Bhatkhalkar, Jayakumar Rawal, Ram Satpute, Girish Mahajan, Sanjay Kute, Narayan Kuche, Parag Alvani, Harish Pimple, Narayan Kuche, Kirtikumar Bhangadia were suspended.
